We are delighted to have recently furnished Italian confectionery giant Ferrero’s new 55,000 square foot UK headquarters in Greenford Park, taking over the Grade II listed Glaxo House which had previously been the global manufacturing and operations HQ for Glaxosmithkline (GSK) since the 1980s.
We had the pleasure to furnish two floors, 170 workplace positions, for the worldwide famous manufacturer. The very open light environment, created by the glass office block, houses their Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and IT departments.
Ferrero’s Italian roots led them to seek an Italian manufacturer as their partner for the project to retain the aesthetic of their headquarters in Alba, in the Piedmont region.
Our Link operative desk was selected for its look, functionality and quality. The architect and clients chose a stylish combination of dove grey worktops, white steel frames and etched glass screens for their free standing single desks and benches. To lend more flexibility to the new workplace, electrical height adjustable desks have been installed at the head of the frame-sharing groups of Link benches.
To mirror Ferrero’s essential and smooth design we combined storage solutions using white Be1 lockable sliding cupboards and white steel Dogma pedestals, accessorized with marmalade and crimson fabric cushion tops, complimenting the corporate colours.
